Been meaning to post this for a while, so over most of this year I've been working on and off on my first environment.
The concept art it's based off is Saw Mill by Eddie Mendoza
I've had to learn a lot over the course of this project learning how to work from a concept from start to finish and translating 2D Elements into a 3D space.
For the logs and bridge planks I sculpted in Zbrush and baked onto a low poly. All foliage was first sculpted in Zbrush then moved over to Speedtree. Everything else was modelled in Maya then textured in Substance Painter. The water was made from a free asset on the unreal marketplace. Lastly the ground was made in Substance Designer. I rendered everything in Unreal Engine 4
I had a lot of fun on this project overall learning along the way and figuring out what worked and what didn't.
